Tahoma's Crown

Long before it was called Mount Rainier, the mountain carried an older name, Tahoma. The Japanese families who settled around Puget Sound saw their homeland’s Mount Fuji in it and called it Tacoma Fuji. In 1936 the two mountains became sister parks and traded stones across the ocean. A pure Japanese matcha, as clean and bright as the glaciers that crown the most glaciated peak in the lower 48.
